COMBAT

Press the ZR Button to attack with your equipped weapon. Each weapon has its own reach, attack speed, and downtime after each attack. Weapons are split into melee and ranged types, with ranged weapons requiring ammo to use.

Crafting weapons will require certain materials. You can find these materials by beating up enemies or buying them from shops.

When holding the L Button to activate Undead Shield, press the A Button to use Bug Crush. This will swing the zombie scale heavily toward the human side, but unleashes a devastating attack that hits a wide area.

SPECIAL MOVES

There are more special moves to learn besides Bug Crush, each with their own unique effects in battle.

Eating certain dishes or using special moves will swing your zombie scale to either the human or zombie side. Going fully to the human side will increase your defense, but at the cost of lower max HP while losing access to your special moves. Going full zombie will buff your attack, but you'll lose the ability to speak as you stagger around like the undead.

You can shift the zombie scale by eating normal or zombie food to push it in your desired direction. Sleeping in bed will also reset the scale to be perfectly balanced when you wake up.
