SURVIVAL

mission

MISSIONS
Whether it's procuring materials or doing a favor for someone, there is no shortage of missions to be done. Completing missions can reward you with anything from new items to unlocking new stories, so try and do them whenever you can.

progress

You must complete certain missions in order to progress the story. If it looks like there isn't anything to do, try waiting until the next day or double-checking to see if there might be something else you missed.

exploring

EXPLORING
Progressing through the story will allow you to see even more of the world, so be sure to explore every nook and cranny.

resources

You can find food, water, and other materials out in the world just waiting to be claimed. Harvestable objects will glow, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. Resources will respawn at random after a certain period of time.
HINT
BREAKABLE OBJECTS
Some objects must be broken by attacking them to obtain their resources. Breakable objects glow as well, so don't miss them!

crafting

CRAFTING
Your crafting table allows you to use certain items to create entirely new ones. Keep unlocking new skills to increase the variety of items you can craft.

create

hoardhorde
There are two types of crafting that can be performed at a crafting table: regular crafting and zombiecrafting. Regular crafting uses everyday materials, while zombiecrafting requires using zombie parts as part of the process.

STORAGE
Crafting sometimes requires a lot of items, but there's only so much you can carry at once—that's where a storage shed comes in handy. Craft a storage shed and place it anywhere on your base, then you can start loading it up with all your hard-earned materials.
